Blue roses swarm around me.
 
The air thick with the scent
 
of blood and honey.
 
I choke on loneliness.
 
Small steps,
 
pierce my mind,
 
as your presence flits
 
at the edges of my vision.
 
I try to run, but I can't escape.
 
You're in my veins permanently
